Question: Good cookie recipe please!?
Bonjour, so I need a good recipe, using the following things that are in my pantry:

Butter

Sugar

Brown sugar

Cinammon

Vanilla extract

flour

Basically any other normal baking ingrident, baking soda, powder, ect

I don't have any chocolate chips, I do hvae raisins and oatmeal though, but I've already made oatmeal raisin cookies!. Any ideas!? I'm bringing them to school tomorrow!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Basic Cookie Dough Recipe
This basic cookie dough recipe can be used for delicious decorated Halloween cookies and is so easy to make!. After the dough is mixed and chilled, use your imagination and decorate your cookies with M&Ms, licorice, candy, cake decoration gel and frosting!. Make pumpkins, spiders, ghosts and jack-o-lantern cookies!



Recipe Ingredients
1 c!. (2 sticks) butter, softened

3/4 c!. granulated sugar

3/4 c!. brown sugar - lightly packed

1/2 tsp!. baking soda

1/4 tsp!. salt

2 eggs

1 tsp!. vanilla

2 1/2 c!. all-purpose flour



Put the butter, both sugars, salt and the baking soda in a large mixing bowl and beat with a mixer for about 3 minutes!. Blend in the eggs and vanilla extract!. Reduce the mixer speed and add the flour gradually!.



This cookie dough is best used when chilled so try to mix it up ahead of time to allow for a couple hours in the refrigerator!. Chill between batches!.



Bake at 375° for 10 to 12 minutes on an un-greased cookie sheet!.


Add any other things you would like such as raisins, nuts, icing and sprinkles (after baking) etc!.



Not exactly biscuits, but yummy and popular, all the same

Chocolate Rum Balls


Ingredients

1 packet of Arrowroot Biscuits

400g tin of sweetened condensed milk

2 tablespoons of cocoa

1 cup of coconut (desiccated)

3 drops of Rum essence or one teaspoon of sweet sherry


Method:

Crush arrowroot biscuits by either rolling pin or food processor

Add ? cup of coconut and cocoa

Stir mix well

Add condensed milk and essence

Stir and mix well

Using your hand pick up approx!. one teaspoon and roll into a ball

Place ball and roll in the remainder of coconut

Place of a tray and set in the fridge

Keep refrigerated for up to 1-2 weeks

* You can use shredded coconut if you dont have dessicated, and roll them in Milo!.


Oatmeal Cookies

Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 09 minutes
Ingredients:
1-1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon salt
----
1-1/4 cups butter, softened
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
----
3 cups old fashioned oats
1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans*, lightly toasted
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F!. Lightly grease cookie sheets!. Combine first set of dry ingredients in a large bowl with a wire whisk!. In a separate bowl, cream the butter and sugars!. Add egg and vanilla!. Combine completely!. Slowly add flour mixture until combined!. (I like to use my stand mixer to make this cookie dough!. As the mixer is running on low, I slowly add the flour mixture!.) Hand stir-in oats and nuts*!.

cinnamon anise cookies

Ingredients:
2 cups shortening
1 cup plus 3 tablespoons sugar, divided
2 eggs
1/2 cup orange juice
2 teaspoons aniseed
6 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, cream shortening and 1 cup sugar!. Beat in the eggs, orange juice and aniseed!. Combine the flour, baking powder and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture!. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours or until easy to handle!. Combine cinnamon and remaining sugar; set aside!.
On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough to 1/8-in!. thickness!. Cut with 2-1/2-in!. cookie cutters dipped in flour!. Place 1 in!. apart on ungreased baking sheets!. Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar!. Bake at 375° for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned!. Remove to wire racks to cool

Biscuits:- Gingernuts
250 g sugar
1 tablespoon golden syrup
1 egg
250 g flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda,
3 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Preheat the oven to 180 C!.
Mix together butter and sugar until pale and creamy, mix in golden syrup, egg and combined dry ingredients!.
Roll into balls and place on cold trays, allowing enough room for biscuits to spread!. Do not flatten biscuits!. Bake 15 - 20 minutes until rich golden colour!.

Make a cinnamon cake!.

Yeah, use all of those ingredients!. Except you might not need the oatmeal and raisins!. If you have icing sugar, you can buy that and mix every 100g of icing sugar with 5mL of water!. Then you could have icing!. Just add a little flavour and colour to do the trick!Www@FoodAQ@Com
