How do you make spanish rice?!


Question: How do you make spanish rice!?
I don't know what it's called but when it's done the rice is an orange color and the beans are black!. Sometimes there is chicken served with it!. The chicken looks!.!.!.different but it taste good!. I don't care what recipe you give me for spanish rice I just want some spanish rice!.!.!.today!. :] thank you so much!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I always make rice with chicken and beans on the side!. Here's my recipe from my grandmother!.

2 lbs chicken pieces
2 t!. salt
3 T olive oil
1/2 c recaito (Goya section in supermarket)
1 T capers
8 green olives (Goya section, not salad olives)
1/2 c tomato sauce
1/4 t oregano
3 c water
3 med garlic cloves, minced
1/4 c onion
1 packet Sazon (Goya)
2 1/4 c long grain rice

Salt chicken with 1 T salt!. Place heavy pot over stove on med-high heat and place recaito, olives, capers, onions and garlic in to saute for a few minutes!. Add tomato sauce and chicken!. Turn stove to low and cover pot an cook for about ten minutes, turning chicken until browned on all sides!. Add water and raise heat until water boils!. Add rice and cook on love, covered until rice is tender!.

For beans:
1 T olive oil
1 c red kidney beans
1/2 c onion
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 c green pepper
3/4 c tomato sauce
1 packet Sazon
1/2 c water

Heat olive oil and add onion, garlic and green papper!. Cook until onions are translucent!. Add tomato sauce, beans, water and Sazon!. Cook on medium for about 10 minutes!.
