Question: HELP ME PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
hello, i am looking for a way to make cakes taste even betterWww@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
add more eggs!.
my grandmother always adds 5 eggs to her cakes!. even if they call for 2!. it makes them moister and fluffier!. not sure how they affect taste though!. make sure you're using fresh ingredients, and try extracts to flavor the actual cake part (like lemon, vanilla, or orange!.!.!.)!. also, a cake place in our area puts a thick pudding (you can get chocolate or vanilla) in the middle of their layered cakes!. that's really yummy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Hi ya! Maybe it's not the cake itself!. Perhaps it's the sugary frostings usually slathered on them!?!? How about topping them with pudding or canned pie fillings or fresh fruit!? My personal favs are choc fudge pudding atop of choc cake, canned apple pie filling or cherry pie filling over white cake!.!.!.hubby's fav is plain old pound cake with lots of freshly sliced peaches (ripe ones) and a dollop of whipped topping!. It really looks nice too!.

Hope I've helped with smiles across the miles,

Add a couple of scoops of butter and a packet of pudding!. Ooooh it makes them so good!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

add more sugar and stir the choc with the butter!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Are you using cake mixes!? If so add couple a extra eggs but separate the yolks from the whites and prepare the mix according to the box (I use milk instead of water) and add the yolks only!. Beat the mix, oil, milk and yolks for two minutes!. Then with a clean mixer beat the whites until soft peaks form!. Fold in the white(gentle) and then bake according to the directions on the box!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
