Yes, it does work, I've actually done it!. Actually, it was an orange-cranberry glaze!.
If you put the marmalade in a saucepan, heat it until it melts, you can then add water & sugar to make the sauce taste how you want!.
For a variation, it's really good if you put in some cloves or cinnamon, too, just don't eat the bits (if you're using whole)!
The best way to cook is to taste, taste, taste, until it's right! Www@FoodAQ@Com

Why wouldn't it work!? Orange marmalade is just concentrated sugar and orange!. I'd heat up the marmalade on the stove, add some water, or stock, to thin it, and use that to baste your duck!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I've never tried it, but to be honest it sounds like a good idea!.
I would try mixing and heating some orange juice and marmalade!. You may want to strain to remove the zest, but you don't need to!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Of course you can!. Why not!? Though I would temper the sweetness with some vinegar or maybe even shallots!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
That sounds like a great idea, go for it!Www@FoodAQ@Com
