Question: What else can i make with pie dough!?
i made apple pie, and i have a good bit of dough left over, what else could i make with it!?

Savory turnovers!. Just make any sort of filling you like -- meat, veggie, fish, whatever, as long as it's fully cooked!. Then cut a 4-8 inch circle of dough and fold it over some filling so that you have a half-moon shape!. Crimp the edges!. You can also put a little water on your finger before closing the edges and wet them before sealing them, as if gluing them together, to make a better seal!. Then back at 350 until they're golden brown!. Yum!. You can also put an egg wash on them before baking if you want them to have a shiny finish!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

My mom would take the extra pie dough and roll it out then she would put daps of margarine throughout the rolled out dough, then sprinkle cinnamon and sugar evenly on dough, roll it up like a jelly roll then slice into bite size pieces pop into the oven (I think 325 or 350 degree) and when it is a light brown they are done ~ bam a minny crisp cinnamon roll up Www@FoodAQ@Com

1 lb!. sea legs or any chunk artificial crab meat
2 (8 oz!.) pkgs!. cream cheese, softened
4 oz!. seafood spread, optional
1 bunch scallions, chopped (about 6 - green part too)
pinch of salt
1 tsp!. sugar
1/4 tsp!. onion powder
oil for deep frying
Place crab meat, cream cheese, seafood spread, scallions, salt, onion powder and sugar into food processor and mix into a lumpy paste!. If food processor is not available, chop crab and onions very fine and mix with softened cream cheese, salt, and sugar!. Place teaspoonful of mixture in middle of a pastry dough shaped into a square!. Moisten edges and draw up opposite corners to meet and form a package!. Make sure all edges are sealed!. My great grandmother and grandmother used to take the left over pie dough, cut it into strips, brush melted butter on it, and sprinkle it with cinnamon and sugar, then bake it!.

If you have a tin of hot dog sausages, you can wrap them in the pastry and cook!. You will have simple tasty sausage rolls!. Delicious hot or cold!.

Boil potatoes and an onion and mash in a tin of corned beef and make pasties!.

If the dough has sugar in it, you would be limited to desserts!. You can make a tart or turnover
