Question: Recipies for children!!?
Hey!. I have Food economics As one of my choosen subjects and have to pick two recipies to make for children!.

problemy is i get an hour nd a half and it must be helpful and must contain skill!?

P!.s Must Be Healthy!!

Not too hard but not too easy!?

does anyone have any ideas!?

Childrens Stuffed Potatoes


PREPARATION TIME 15 MINUTES COOKING TIME 20 MINUTES MAKES 12




12 baby potatoes |480g] 1 teaspoon olive oil
1/2 small brown onion (40g), chopped finely
1 small carrot (35g|, grated coarsely
lOOg chicken mince
1/2 cup |125ml| tomato puree
1 tablespoon coarsely grated parmesan
A cup finely chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley


Kids will love these homemade bake potatoes, you can stuffed them with chicken or vegetables

vegetarian stuffing

Heat 1 teaspoon olive oil in small frying pan; cook 1 coarsely grated small zucchini (90g| and 3 coarsely grated yellow patty-pan squash (90g), stirring, until softened!. Add 1/3 cup (80ml) milk; bring to a boil!. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, about 5 minutes or until liquid evaporates!. Stir in 2 tablespoons coarsely grated cheddar!.

1 Boil, steam or microwave potatoes until tender; drain!. Meanwhile, heat oil in small frying pan; cook onion, stirring, until soft!. Add carrot and mince; cook, stirring, about 5 minutes or until mince is browned and cooked through!.

2 Add tomato puree; bring to a boil!. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, about 5 minutes or until liquid evaporates!.

3 Cut shallow slice from top of each potato; using teaspoon, carefully scoop out about two-thirds of the flesh!. Spoon filling into potatoes; sprinkle with cheese!.


mini pineapple and carrot cakes


PREPARATION TIME 10 MINUTES COOKING TIME 15 MINUTES MAKES 24




1/2 cup (50g) plain flour
1/2 cup (75g) self-raising flour
1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
1/2 cup (55g) caster sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
225g can crushed pineapple, drained
2/3 cup (160gl firmly packed finely grated carrot
1/3 cup (80ml| vegetable oil
1 egg, beaten lightly

CREAM CHEESE ICING

125g cream cheese, softened
1 tablespoon icing sugar mixture
1 teaspoon lemon juice
2 teaspoons milk

1 Preheat oven to moderate!. Grease two 12-hole (1 tablespoon/20ml) mini muffin pans!.

2 Sift flours, soda, sugar and cinnamon into medium bowl!. Add pineapple and carrot;stir in combined oil and egg (do not over-mix)!.

3 Divide mixture among prepared holes!. Bake, uncovered, in moderate oven about 15 minutes!. Stand muffins in pans 5 minutes; turn onto wire rack to cool!.

4 Meanwhile, combine ingredients for cream cheese icing in small bowl!. Spread cooled muffins with icing!.
