Question: Help with making Jiffy pizza!? !?
Ok I'm using a box of Jiffy pizza crust mix to make pizza!.!.!.!.first time trying this!. The box says after adding watter to the mix, stir and cover for 5 mins!. in a warm place (85 degrees)!. Where can I put it!? It's only 60 deg!. outside, and about 65-70 inside!. I don't want to cook my son and I in our apartment!. Should I turn the heat up to 85 for 5 minutes!? Any ideas!? Hi,
If you're preheating your oven as it says to do, cover bowl with a tea towel and set it on top of stove, close to but not directly next to heat vent!. You must keep the bowl away from drafts!.

Or perhaps!.!.!.Use the hot water, stir, and cover as directed and then wrap the bowl with a thick towel to 'hold in' the heat!?

The kneading step is important to do as well!.!.!.!.makes for a better crust

Extra tip - after you've patted out the crust, BEFORE you add toppings, prebake the crust for 3-5 minutes, remove from oven and then put on your fav toppings, then bake as directed!.
