How to bake caprese pizza?!

Question: How to bake caprese pizza!?
I plan to use tomatoes, basil, mozzarella, and garlic!. I made my own pizza dough and I was wondering exactly how to go about baking it!. Do I need to pre-bake the dough or can I just drizzle it with oil and garlic, put the tomatoes on, then the basil, then the mozzarella and bake it at like 450 for 10-15 minutes or so!? Any tips are fine, whether it is about putting the pizza together or baking it!. I also wanted to ask if it would be okay for me to use shredded mozzarella cheese rather than a log cut into slices!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
put your dough in a greased pan, oil next, then cheese!. By the way, shredded mozzarella is fine if both that and the round log is both aged!. If you are thinking of the fresh mozzerella versus shredded, they taste different!. Your choice, both are good, just different!. After cheese, I would put the tomato slices(thin ones), then a thin shredded fresh basil and sprinkle of fresh chopped garlic and maybe a light drizzle of olive oil again!. Make sure your oven is hot, 450 degrees or better!. slide that baby in there and bake for 8-10 minutes and check it!. When can I be over for samples!?!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can just bake it!. The only disadvantage is that it may be hard to move the loaded dough into the oven!. If you've got a pizza peel, be sure to either flour it or put some corn meal on it!. Or you can prebake the crust a bit first and then it will be stiff enough to just move with a couple spatulas!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would prebake the dough, then add your toppings and just heat thru for 10 mins on same temp setting!. 450 should be fine, if yo have baked pizza dough at that setting before with no problems other wise I usually do 350-375 for 20 mins making sure the bottom doesnt burn at the same time!.

I would not add the basil til the last 5 mins of baking the second time around or the herb will burn and ruin the pizzaWww@FoodAQ@Com

def!. pre bake the dough a little!. grease the pan and put in oven for 10 minutes, when it looks half baked, pull out and add ingredients
