Can I substitute milk with nonfat dry milk to make pudding?!

Question: Can I substitute milk with nonfat dry milk to make pudding!?
I know you can sub the dry milk when you cook something, but with (instant) pudding I don't know it the dry milk would leave a weird taste!. Do you do this or should I just use regular milk to make it!?

Thanks!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Yes you can!. I would add about 2 Tbs!. extra non-fat dry milk to make the pudding a bit richer!. Do reconstitute the milk first!. Don't just put the milk powder into your pudding mix and then add water!.

Your pudding will taste just fine!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sure, I have before - Just mix it according to pkg directions and use - I added a 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla because I was worried about the flavor to - in chocolate pudding - but if you have canned milk that is better Just dilute canned milk 1/2 and 1/2 water!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
