How do you prevent tomato sauce from sticking to your tuber ware?!

Question: How do you prevent tomato sauce from sticking to your tuber ware!?
I wonder how you prevent any food that's been cooked with tomato sauce or some kind of tomatoes from staining your tabor ware containers!? I am sick and tired of ruining them and having to replace them!. Any ideas!? If I spelled tuber ware wrong, I apologize!. I am tri lingual!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I do not waste my money with cleaners!. I use the same one for any kind of tomato based foods!. I also use the throw away ones (like butter tubs, etc!.) or if i have one the right size some kind of corning ware or glass dish (they do not stain)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Unfortunately, tomatoes have a nasty way of staining plastics!. There is not much that I know to do to prevent the staining!. I do know that they make a special cleaner that will get the tomato stain out of your tupper wear!. You should be able to find it along with your other dish cleaners at the store!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

To prevent sticking, spray your Tupperware with Pam before you put anything in it!. The tomato sauce will still stain it, however!. Stains look ugly, but don't hurt it!. I keep the stained ones and next time I need plastic for tomato sauce, I re-use the stained pieces!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The only conclusion I have come to is to not use them, unfortunately!. I too became tired of replacing them, so for storing anything that tends to stain or leave an odor, I now use those nice covered glass containers!. They are also great multi-use dishes to have!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

there is a special cleaner for this but i doubt if it works I've got a set of plastic containers that aren't suppose to stain but they do so don't waste anymore on plastic just buy glass or use stained ones only for tomato sauceWww@FoodAQ@Com
