Answers:
If you look up any rose petal recipe online you will see a warning NOT to use storebought flowers as they have dangerous pesticides on them!. i don't care how many people might eat them and say they don't get sick, the warning is there and it is valid!. You need a source for unsprayed flowers!. Your best bet is a local neighbor that raises roses for the fun of it and is trying to be as chemical free as they can!. OR you can get dried rose petals at the health food store in the herb section!. Do not use potpourri as it definitely contains bad stuff!.

To make your ice cubes, fill each dept!. in the tray half full and freeze!. Then place a petal or a mint leaf over each cube and put a little more water in each section and freeze again!. Lastly add more water to top off the ice cube!. This will put the petals and leaves directly in the center of the ice cubes instead of them floating to the top or sinking to the bottom!. I know it is work!.!.!. you are filling the tray 3 different times and waiting for each time to freeze, but they are so beautiful in drinks that it is worth it!.

Hope this helps, and please do not poison your guests with sprayed flowers!. ;-) Or at least warn them ahead of time!. LOLWww@FoodAQ@Com
