Heres how I make mine:
boil peeled potatoes until soft and can be mashed!. drain water and add butter, salt, pepper, milk, minced garlic cloves, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, and a little bit of ranch(to make it creamy)!. Of course, some of these ingredients can be 86'd or replaced!. But I do reccomend trying the ranch because it makes the potatoes nice and creamy!. I usually just eye the portions!.!.!.remember, you can always add, but not take away!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm lazy and I LOVE the garlic mashed potatoes from Outback!. After about a million tries to find the perfect copy-cat recipe, my boyfriend suggested I just try to replicate the taste!. My potatoes don't come out exactly the same, but I still love them!. I add a dash of onion powder, a generous shake of garlic powder and just a hint of chili powder to my finished mashed potatoes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
peel, dice and boil your potatoes till done!. Drain and put back in the kettle!. Add crushed garlic, some butter and milk!. Whip with a mixer or mash with the masher till smooth!. You may need to add more butter and milk but do so a bit at a time so you don't get runny potatoes!. Add salt and pepper if you want!. More garlic if you want, or less!. Some people also add a littleshredded cheddar cheese at mashing time as well!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
for mine I peel whole cloves of garlic (for the amount of potatoes you have 2-3 cloves) and put them to boil with the potatoes!. Once the potatoes are done, I mix with butter, milk and sour cream (if I have it) plus salt and pepper!. The garlic cloves get mashed in and you won't bite into them!.
YUM!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I actually use garlic and herb cream cheese with a bit of additional cream to make them!. They turn ou the same, have a bit less fat than using butter, and have a great texture and flavor!! Hope you like it!Www@FoodAQ@Com
