Imitation Cream? ?!
I am smothering a cake in cream (sides and top) to make a smooth surface over the whole cake, then going to decorate it!.
Ive done this with real cream (whipped), but I heard it was easier for real cream to break, and that imitation cream was easier to work with!?
I want a whipped imitation cream, or an imitation cream that I can whip, to spread over my cake!.
I have no idea what they call this type of cream!. Ive never worked with it before!.
What should I look for!? Do I find it at the supermarket!? Would it be near the normal cream!? Is the name for it "Imitation cream"!.
I'm really not sure what I would be looking for, so please, any help would be appreciated =)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Real Whipped cream is still the best!. You can buy Cool Whip in tubs in the frozen food section!. You can buy Nutri Whip in cartons where the milk is!. You can buy Dream Whip in boxes with the baking supplies!. All of these will work!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
You might want to look in a cookbook for a good buttercream frosting!. There's also soy whipping cream, but I'm not sure if you could find it in your local natural foods store!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Cool whip deary!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
