Answers:
Never add water to chocolate to thin it for dipping!. Use shortening instead, stirring it into the melted chocolate, and heat for an extra 30 seconds!. One to 1-1/2 tablespoons of shortening to a cup of melted chocolate should be enough to thin it for dipping!.

Just melt it very gently til it is the right consistency!. If you 'over' melt it that is when it will start to go thick again!. You could melt it in the microwave on medium power in 30 second bursts stirring between each til it is almost all melted and then stir it around to melt the rest!. Or in a bowl over bowling water stirring constantly, if there is any water in the bowl it will not melt and just go thick!. If you put a drop of vegetable oil and stir just before you dip it will give the chocolate a lovely gloss when it dries!. Hope this helpsWww@FoodAQ@Com

The best thing to do is this: Take a large pot and put water in it!. Put this on the stove and bring to a boil; then take a smaller pot and put ontop of the boiling water pot!. Then take your chocolate and melt it with white Crisco!. The white crisco will keep the chocolate thin and it will not get as hard as it would it you melted it with butter!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
