Is it okay to eat twice defrosted chicken?!

Question: Is it okay to eat twice defrosted chicken!?
So I defrosted chicken breasts a couple of weeks ago, and we ended up doing something else for dinner and didn't use it for a few days, so I put it back in the freezer!. I re-defrosted it tonight, and it looks a little off to me, but that might be me just being paranoid, is it going to be okay to eat!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
those bad looks is why a person should not refreeze meat!. It did not spoil in the general sense if you had them kept at proper temp and simple refroze them!. There is no way chicken (or any meat)would "spoil" being kept cold, frozen, cold and then refrozen!. The texture of the meat will be off though!. A good way to cook them now is dice and use in a hotdish!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If it wasn't cooked, heck no!. You never, ever re-freeze uncooked meat!. Ever!. You can, however, put cooked meat in the freezer even if it came from being frozen!. That would be safe to eat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I've done it, but I had some um!.!.!.!. Extreme discomfort afterwards!. I would not recommend it!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

No!. PItch them!. The only way to freeze twice is if it was raw the first time, and cooked the second!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Nope!. Don't do it!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

if it was only out for a little bit it is ok to refreeze yesWww@FoodAQ@Com
