Would this be ok for dinner?!

Im making homemade chicken tenders, and I was going to make baked potatoes with them, cause I want to use up some of my red potatoes, but now I think that I want to make homemade french fries instead!. Do you think that red potatoes will make ok tasting french fries!? Or should I stick to baked!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Red potatoes will make good fries, but not good baked potatoes because they have such thin skins!. A good baking potato is a russet!. It's thick skin makes a jacket so that you can smash stuff into the potato like butter, sour cream, chives, bacon, etc!. Red potatoes are best roasted or mashed!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
