yes, skip the eggs and substitute 1/4 cup applesauce per egg in all baking recipes!.!.!. you could throw the sauce in the proccessor or blender to smooth it out if you dont want the chunks!.!.!.plus!.!.!.!.
no cholesterol!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I use applesauce when I bake my cakes instead of oil, its much better for you!. The chunky might be a problem, so mash it a little so that at least they are smaller!. Actually I might try the chunky sometime, it sounds good and I like to experiment with baking!.
Thanks for the new idea!Www@FoodAQ@Com

It should be okay, there may be chunks of apple in the cake, though!. Use your best judgment, if the pieces of apple in the sauce look too big, skip it!.
The apple sauce will help keep the cake moist and add a touch of sweetness!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I wouldn't because it will add too much texture (chunks) to your cake, they won't break down when baking!. However, if that's all you have, put it in a blender and puree it, or use a potato masher to get the chunks out!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes!. It can be used to replace part of your oil, if you want!. I have a recipe I use applesauce and baby food in and the cake comes out very dense, moist and good!. I think it's worth trying!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Only if the recipe calls for chunky!. If you only have chunky, then put it in a blender or food processor and then use it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes, but why would you want to!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i wouldnt unless its an apple cakeWww@FoodAQ@Com
