How do I make a "soccer ball" cake?!
I was told in a recipe to use pudding steamers!.!.!.not sure what these are!. What other pans can I use and/or buy!? Any ideas are great!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

For the ball use a ball pan, and mark the details accordingly!.
After 'drawing' the lines using white butter cream, I dotted the areas, which were to be blue and red to avoid confusion!. Then fill these up first, and cover the rest with white last!.
The ball sits on a 9" round cake covered to look like a field!. I found some chocolates covered in football foil and got some to put around the cake!.
Tips: I used a square cake board to 'break' from all the roundness!. In my opinion, this suits more than a round square cake board for this particular cake!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Okay get a round pan, like those tin ones for layer cakes, if not the betty crocker round cake set and pan, then frost it white!. They get either the gel writing or frosting with balck foodcloring adn amke the black parts of he ball! PRESTO! hahaha! I hope I helped you out :-)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Wilton actually has a ball cake pan set on the market!. You can get them at craft stores like Hobby Lobby!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
