Do these two items freeze well?!
So I was wondering, does chicken noodle soup and onions freeze well!? I was making sup tonight, and my soup will not be eaten within a few days, so I want to freeze it so I can eat it later and the onions are jst chopped up!. So would these freeze okay!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

The onions will keep if you put them in the fridge, you would be surprised at the shelf life of an onion!. If the onion is already cooked in the soup it will be fine!. As for the soup I would hold off on cooking the noodles for the soup until you are ready to eat it, just make the soup w/out the noodles and freeze!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
onions freeze fine as a matter of fact you can buy pre-chopped onions frozen at many stores!.!.soup will also freeze, just be sure its in a good freezer bag to prevent freezer burn and when ou re-heat dont do it to long or the noodles will be mushy!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
The soup will freeze well as long as it is in the proper container!.
