girl a cookie is not a cookie with out the butter Www@FoodAQ@Com

You're substituting sugar (a non-liquid) with a semi-liquid (applesauce)!. I honestly don't know how that would come out!. Your cookie dough is going to be mushy!. I guess you could try, but you may need to increase your dry ingredients, i!.e!. flour in order to make the dough more firm!.

Still, I'm not sure if it will come out ok!. Good luck!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sugar cookies are all about the butter and mixing butter and sugar together to create something beautiful!.
If you're trying to eat healthy, just skip the cookies!.
Applesauce is normal a substitute for fat in the recipe not for the sugar!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i think that if u substitute butter with applesauce the cookies wouldn't hold together
you could use oil though since oil is just like a melted butterWww@FoodAQ@Com
