HOMEMADE CHICKEN SOUP

* 1/2 large onion, halved
* water to cover
* salt and pepper to taste

1!. Put the meat-covered chicken bone, carrots, celery and onion in a large soup pot and cover with cold water!. Heat and simmer, uncovered, until the chicken meat falls off of the bones (skim off foam every so often)!.

2!. Take everything out of the pot!. Strain the broth!. Pick the meat off of the bones and chop the carrot, celery and onion!. Season the broth with salt, pepper and chicken bouillon to taste, if desired!. Return the chicken, carrots, celery and onion to the pot, stir together, and serve!.

Yes you can but it will not be a strong flavour - but if you use less water to make your stock it will be fine and cook it for about 30 mins - strip the meat left from the bones and discard any skin and bones, then dice some vegetables in about 1 cm cubes, such as onion, carrot, potato, celery and peas and cook for another 10 minutes then and add some fresh chopped parsley, dill or tarragon if you have some to the stock and your chicken bring back to the boil and serve
You can also add some pasta or rice to give it a bit more body in the last 10 minutes of cooking if you wish - don't forget to add salt and pepper or you could even add some chilli if you wish to add extra flavour as the chicken is fairly bland anyway
Eat with some nice crusty bread - - its a great light meal - enjoy!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes, you could make soup, but it will have nowhere near the flavour of a whole fresh chicken!. also, you couldn't make a huge put out of bones and 1 thigh, only a smaller amount!. You could give it a slightly richer flavour if if you roast the bones to brown them a little more (but not black, or it will get bitter)!.
also, you need to add lots of vegetables, particularly carrots, some celery, and onion to the stock for flavour!. Strain the stock well!. If there's not enough taste, add a stock cube!. Finish off with other ingredients, like pasta, and add fresh parsley right at the end!.

Yes!. Bring about 2 cups of water to a boil!. Add your chicken, a tsp of salt, a tsp of black peppercorns, some herbs de provence or Italian seasoning blend, half a carrot, 1/4 an onion (both in big chunks), and half a stalk of celery!. Let simmer until thigh falls apart!.

Strain, saving broth!. Pick meat off and add back to broth!. Return to simmer and add about a half-cup dry egg noodles or whatever pasta you like, and maybe the other half of the carrot and celery, minced!. When pasta is done and veggies are tender, soup's ready!Www@FoodAQ@Com

1 bowl probably, sure!.

Boil/simmer it in CANNED CHICKEN STOCK for about 2 hours and then pull the rest of the chicken off of the bone!. In the last hour, add in carrots, onions, celery, mushrooms, leeks -- whatever you desire along with some salt and pepper and maybe a little oregano!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can certainly do that!. However, it will not be real robust because it is such a small amount of chicken/bones!. Just make enough for one or two, not a whole big pot!. If you have a boullion cube, you could use that for flavor, too!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sure!

You may also cook it with vegetables like potatoes, onions and carrots!. It will enhance the total taste!.

Happy cooking!Www@FoodAQ@Com
