Question: Any one have an amazing chocolate chip cookie recipe thats NOT too complicated but tastes really good!?
I know i can go online and find a million recipes, and i can also look at the back of my chocolate chips for the recipe but i want someone to tell me one of their favorite recipes! Please only give me a recipe that youhave personally tried! Im so in the mood for the best chocolate chip cookies ever!.! :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

1 cup corn syrup
1 cup white sugar
1 1/2 cups peanut butter
8 cups crisp rice cereal
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

DIRECTIONS
Butter a 9x13 inch pan!.
Pour the sugar, syrup, and peanut butter into a large microwave bowl!. Microwave on high until it begins to bubble, two to three minutes!. Once the mixture is boiling, remove from the microwave oven, and stir in the cereal and chocolate chips until coated!.
Pour the mixture into the prepared pan!. Wet hands, sling off the excess water, and press down the treats until smoothed!. Let cool, and cut into squares!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

My favorite is the Nestle's Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookie:

Original Nestlé Toll House Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Ingredients:
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter or margarine
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
1 3/4 cups (11!.5-oz!. pkg!.) NESTLé? TOLL HOUSE? Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chunks
1 cup chopped nuts - Optional

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375o F!.

Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl!. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy!. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition!. Gradually beat in flour mixture!. Stir in chunks and nuts!. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets!.

Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown!. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely!.

PAN COOKIE VARIATION:
Grease 15 x 10-inch jelly-roll pan!. Prepare dough as above!. Spread into prepared pan!. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown!. Cool in pan on wire rack!. Makes 4 dozen bars!.

In 30 years+ of baking, I have to say that my personal favorite is the recipe that is on the back of the Nestle Semi-sweet chocolate chip bag!. I use it often for just "plain chocolate chip cookies" OR I "tweek" it a bit with some varied additions!. For instance, instead of just using semi-sweet morsels, I use a combination of the semi-sweet, milk chocolate, white choocolate, and butterscotch!. I also have been known to use both pecans AND walnuts!. If you like peanut butter!.!.!.!.!.reduce the amout of butter in the recipe by 2 Tablespoons!. Add 1/3 cup CHUNKY peanut butter right after you cream the butter and the sugar!. Then, instead of pecans, add peanuts and/or a combination of peanuts and pecans or walnuts!.

Here's the original Nestle semi-sweet recipe for the cookies:
