Chicken broth is obviously a great base for soups, but it's wonderful to use a reducing agent as well!. Chicken broth and white or red wine are wonderful for simmering meats in order to make them fall-apart tender!. Try browning the outside edges of some beef short ribs, pork loin chops or lamb shanks in a little olive oil, then simmer them in chicken broth, wine, canned or fresh tomatoes, chopped onions and garlic and any combination of herbs or spices for two to three hours!. (You can finish the sauce off with some heavy cream and fresh green herbs like parsley or cilantro for extra decadence!.) You will then discover the truest meaning of the term "fork-tender!."Www@FoodAQ@Com

Chicken and noodles!. Bring the broth and cooked shredded chicken to a boil, add store bought egg noodles or make homemade egg noodles!. You could make this more of a main dish or add vegetables for soup!.
