This is something I tried with my hand-blender!. I boiled a whole head of cauliflower (broken up into pieces first)!. Once cooked, I drained it, and while it was still hot, pureed it with the immersion blender!. I added a little bit of cream cheese (softened) and parmesan cheese!. Pureed a little more to mix them well, and added chopped green onion at the end!. It was soooo good! and relatively healthy too!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Tomato Soup

1/2 tomato
1/4 white onion
1/2 cup tomato-vegetable juice cocktail
salt and pepper to taste
basil to taste

This should only take one can of tomatoes, but it's so easily multiplied that you could probably use all of your tomatoes if you were looking to!. also, you can substitute the veggie broth for chicken or beef stock!. If you want a creamier soup, substitute 1/4 or your stock for heavy cream, milk or even half and half!.

also, I sometimes add corn or mushrooms to this soup to change it up!.

Chop your onions into medium/small bits, then add to tomatoes!. Add spices and blend!. If you choose to add cream or milk, now's the time!. Blend again!. Simmer until hot but not boiling!. Tada!

I use this to make tomato soup just for me, as it serves just one person!

This soup is good with a grilled cheese sandwich!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well here is a couple things ive tried

1!. Salsa- use all of your tomatoes in smaller batches!. add some peppers and seasonings

2 Make ground spices for a marinade or rub

3!. Make a vinaigrette with some oil and other spices possibly ones u made from #2!?

4!. make a dip!. My 2 favorite dips in a hand blender are

-Buffalo chicken dip-made with cream cheese canned chicken and hot sauceyumm:)
or
-blt dip- put sourcream, and shredded cheddar cheese in blender mix with garlic and garli powder(not much) and then add small pieces of bacon or bacon bits!Www@FoodAQ@Com
