Cook your chicken, veggies (I like celery, onion, carrot, peas, and green beans) and pasta first!. Dice chicken!. In the pan you cooked the chicken add 2 tablespoons of butter and 2 tablespoons of flours!. Whisk the two on medium heat!. While you are wisking try to get up all the chicken bits stuck on the bottom of the pan (this will add a lot of flavor to your sauce) Continue cooking until the flour turns golden brown!. Add 1 quart of chicken stock or broth!. Keep whisking, the sauce will begin to get thick and bubbly!. Add half a cup of heavy cream and season with salt and pepper!. Then add in you veggies, chicken and noodles!. Combine and enjoy!.
Note: You can also make this recipe with frozen veggies and diced up rotisserie chicken rom the grocery store!.
I also do not enjoy the crust on pot pies!. Try using a puff pastry crust instead!. It gives your pot pie a nice buttery crunch!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Okay sounds like you want more of a chicken veggie casserole!.
Peel, cut, chop all these veggies:
Carrots
Onions
Garlic
Even broccoli if you choose
Boil until crisp tender, drain!.
Add frozen/thawed peas and corn, and cooked chicken breast pieces!.
For the creamy sauce I always make a chicken gravy from scratch (roux, chicken stock and canned milk-season to taste) But you do a 50/50 mix of chicken gravy with canned cream of chioce soup, or just the cream of ____ soup!.
Toss together with cooked wide egg noodles, or other pasta and bake until hot and bubby!.
Or instead of adding the noodles you could make a biscuit topping!. Make a biscuit dough (bisquick or homemamde) and make it kind of thin!. Drop by spoon fulls on top of the chicken mix and sprinkle with a little seasoned salt!. I would make the dough pretty thin as it will puff up quick a lot!.
