Good sausage casserole recipes?!
Hi im wanting to make a sausage casserole and place it in the slow cooker but i have not made one in years, i have forgotten how to make it, any good and easy recipes you can share would be brill, thanksWww@FoodAQ@Com

Slow Cooker Mexican Casserole
1 lb!. Hot Roll Sausage
3/4 cup yellow cornmeal
1 1/2 cup milk
1 egg
1 can (14!.5 oz!.) diced tomatoes and green chilies
1 cup frozen corn
1 envelope (1!.25 oz!.) taco seasoning mix
1 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese
Spray interior of crock pot with non-stick vegetable spray!. In medium skillet over medium heat, crumble and cook sausage until brown!. Place sausage in slow cooker!. In small bowl, combine cornmeal, milk and egg!. Stir into sausage!. Add tomatoes, corn and seasoning mix!. Stir well!. Cover and cook on low 4 to 6 hours!. Top with cheese 5 minutes before serving!. Recover to melt cheese!.

This is VERY delicious one, but not a slow cooker type, sorry, although again, VERY delicious;
1 pound ground pork sausage
1 teaspoon mustard powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 eggs, beaten
2 cups milk
6 slices white bread, toasted and cut into cubes
8 ounces mild Cheddar cheese, shredded
Crumble sausage into a medium skillet!. Cook over medium heat until evenly brown; drain!.
In a medium bowl, mix together mustard powder, salt, eggs and milk!. Add the sausage, bread cubes, and cheese, and stir to coat evenly!. Pour into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish!. Cover, and chill in the refrigerator for 8 hours, or overnight!.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)!.
Cover, and bake 45 to 60 minutes!. Uncover, and reduce temperature to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C)!. Bake for an additional 30 minutes, or until set!. Serves 8

100g/3?oz tinned cherry tomatoes
150ml/5fl oz/? pint chicken stock or vegetable stock
splash red wine

1!. Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the garlic and onion for 2-3 minutes or until they have softened!.

6 or 8 sausages ( Lincolnshire or pork and leek) in a casserole dish!. Fry 2 med chopped 1/2 moon onions in butter and oil till just caremalising!.
