I need a healthy good tasting salad?!


Question: I need a healthy good tasting salad!?
Bonjour!. :] So I need a recipe for a good salad, I have a head of lettuce, cherry tomatoes, a bag of carrots, I have a pepper, half a tomato, turkey breast, chicken breast, , things of that nature!. I know I should probably just whip it all together, but when I try to do that, it never exactly tastes good!. Any ideas!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Okay!.!.!.I love salads!.!.!.and all the ingrediants you have sound wonderful!.

Wash and dry the head of lettuce!. Place in whichever bowl you'll be serving the lettuce!. I'm not sure if you're talking iceburg lettuce, or a type of green lettuce!. I'm not too keen on iceburg!.!.!.as it has absolutely no nutritional value!. Salads are always best with green leafy lettuce or spinach!.

Wash and halve the cherry tomoatoes!.

Slice and/or dice the turkey breast AND chicken breast!. Obviously, if they're not cooked yet!.!.!.grill them!. lol

Instead of chopping the carrots, use the cheese shredder, and shred some of the carrots!. Top the salad and use it more as a decoration!.

If you have any raspberries throw some of those in!.

Get some almonds, and quickly pan-fry them in a bit of oil!. Just quickly!.!.!.they will toast fast, and you don't want to burn them!. Toss in the salad!.

To top it all off, use a simple vinigarette dressing!. I like a nice Raspberry vinagarette or balsamic dressing!.

Toss it all together and it's sooooooooo good!

This is good:

lettuce, broken into pieces
1/2 cup cherry tomato halves
1 carrot, grated
1 pepper, diced
1/2 cup turkey, cubed
1/2 cup chicken, cubed
? cup olive oil
2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
? cup balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
salt and pepper
1/2 cup grated cheese: one of each, or combination of mozzarella, cheddar, parmesan, feta

Whisk together oil, vinegar, lemon juice and seasonings!. Place remaining ingredients in large bowl, pour dressing over and toss well!. Serve immediatelyWww@FoodAQ@Com

SJ-SC-CA Incredible Chicken Salad

3 cups chicken breast (cooked and cubed)
1 cup pineapple (diced)
1/2 cup celery (diced)
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup raisins
1/4 cup walnuts
1/8 cup dried cranberries
2 Tablespoons sweet onion (minced)
2 Tablespoons apple juice

Combine all ingredients in a bowl until well combined and chill!. Serve with a lettuce garnish!.

An extremely healthy salad is beet salad!. Put in a bowl some baby spinach, cut up beets, and then sprinkle your favorite cheese on top!. Then add a tasty vinaigrette, and you have a healthy, good tasting salad! I know those aren't the ingredients you have on hand, but it's so good for you, and it's delicious, you just HAVE to try it!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I personally can't stand head lettuce!. If it is a different kind of lettuce, use it!. If it's head lettuce, don't use it!. Whip up everything, chop it in strips, take the tomato liquid out of the tomatoes, and add salt and pepper!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
