Anyone else having a barbie tomorrow and not wanting to make their guests ill?!

Question: Anyone else having a barbie tomorrow and not wanting to make their guests ill!?
How many of you de-vein your large raw prawns or will before you cook them!? How many people know that you need to do this!? And for those of you who don't - do you want some advice!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
I de-vein!. However, the best way to prevent you guests becoming ill, is to keep the men away from the BBQ!. When men cook it's either a burnt offering or a bloody sacrifice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You take the black sack off a raw prawn, yes I knew that!.!.

I don't think it'll poison anyone, it just makes them spoil quicker (should you keep raw prawns) and leaves them tasting gritty!.!.

If you BBQ a raw prawn fresh from the sea, it will do you no harm, you may need to spit out the head, tail etc, but it's not poisonous!.!. A well prepared Prawn (especially Jumbo King Tiger) is a glorious thing!.!. Egg sacks, veins, tails, heads all need removing for a pleasant experince, but like I said, none of it is dangerous!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes I de vein them!.

I understand the vein will only give a yukkie taste, but not make you ill!.

If you have advice, email me!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well, you'd make me ill 'cos I'm allergic to them!. Is there something else for me to eat!? I'll bring my own booze!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
