Answers:
OH wow!. No need to rinse unless they are frozen and you wanna get the ice off!. Get a zatarains crab boil, a lemon and a beer!. Slice lemon in halves, throw lemons and poor beer in a big pot of boiling water!. Seafood takes no time to cook, when the little fat (its white) they do have comes to the top of the water they are ready!. Melt you some butter and dig in!.\

oh yea dont rinse after, will ruin the flavor!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

All the snow crabs I've seen in the stores are already cooked!. If yours are red - they have already been cooked!. What I do with them is crack the shells - leaving the legs intact and then pour melted butter down the inside of the shell after placing them on a cookie sheet!. Bake them in the oven on 300o just until they have warmed up (20 minutes or so) and enjoy!. You can do garlic butter too if you like!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I USED TO COOK SNOW CRAB ALOT!.I HAVE NEVER WASHED THEM!.I ALWAYS JUST PUT THEM IN A POT OF BOILING WATER AND BOILED THEM UNTIL COLOR OF THE SHELL TURNS RED AND THIS WHITE STUFF WILL BE FLOATING AROUND!.THEN YOU CAN RINSE THEM AFTER WARDS ,BUT YOU REALLY DON'T NEED TO!.tHEN SERVE WITH HOT MELTED BUTTER WITH LEMON AND SALT!.VERY GOOD!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
