Can you boil chicken thighs?!

Question: Can you boil chicken thighs!?
i have a bunch of chicken thighs frozen, with the skin on them and bones in them!. they're a pain to de-bone and skin so i am wondering if you can boil them kind of like chicken breasts!. Can i boil them with the skin on them or do i have to take it off first!? Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
of course you can!. If you want to use broth it is gonna be very greasy though!. you might need to skim some of the grease offWww@FoodAQ@Com

Chicken thighs are one of the fattiest parts of a chicken!. If you boil them, you run the risk of rendering all the fat from the meat and ending up with rather dry or tough meat!.

Instead, you could braise them, oven roast, or pan saute!. You can keep the skin on in any of those methods and will get a much tastier, juicier meat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Uhh why couldn;t you boil them!. But I do agree that some of the flavor will leave with the fat!. Sprinkle them with a little salt and pepper and just bake them!. The skin will come off very easy and so will the meat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
