Question: I would like a successful recipe for shortcrust pastry using margarine rather than butter, please!?
I'm lactose intolerant so can't use butterWww@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Keep in mind that margarine contains more moisture than butter and no butterfat, so you might want to adjust by adding a bit more margarine than the butter required and add a bit of additional vegetable oil (to make up for the butterfat)!.

My favorite place to get recipes is from:

www!.recipezaar!.com

Once there, you type in what you're looking for!. When the results pop up you can sort the list by "Rating"!. If you sort it by rating then all the best tried-and-true recipes will pop up to the top!.

I bet you'll find what your looking for there!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Just use it the same as butter!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
