Question: Is it ok to cook a lobster when it seems to be dead!? it was bought 24hrs ago and kept in fridge sence!?
Answers:
Yes, it should be OK if you cook it right away!.

Freshly dead lobster can usually be cooked without problems if it is done within 24 hours!. But they need to have been stored properly!. Not only must they be refrigerated but they must be kept damp!.

After cooking, the tail should be curled, and should return to the curled position after being straightened out!. If the tail is limp and there is an ammonia smell, too much time passed before it was cooked, and the flavor of the meat is deteriorated!. It's OK to eat but may not taste that good!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If It's dead I wouldn't eat it, You have no way of telling how long ago it died!. Just for the heck of it how was it stored!? If you had it in plastic while in frig it probably suffocated!. Generally they wouldn't die in 24 hrs in frig!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

it's probably not dead!.!. the cold brings the animal into unconciousness and it will feel less pain lol!.!.i would cook it as soon as possible thoughWww@FoodAQ@Com

Please don't!. There is a reason to cook the lobsters live and I would hate to see you get sick to try to save money!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Let it come to room temperature and it'll probably "come back to life!."Www@FoodAQ@Com
