Question: How do you make cheesecake without getting cuts in it!?
I'm having a big party and I'm planning on making a normal flavored cheesecake with Smart Balance cream cheese and I want my cheesecake turning out beautiful! How do you make sure there's no breakage in your cheesecake!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Here are some tips on preventing cracks in cheesecake:

The "Water bath" is the best method!.!.!.however, should you still have a cracking problem, just put a thin layer of sour cream on top of the cake after it cools!.!.!.making sure to disguise the crack!. (People kinda expect the crack, anyway!.!.!.!.!.but I've disguised mine often with a layer of sour cream on top)

guessing--do they occur from too high heat!? too dry mix!? could you just pack them with powered sugar to camouflage them!?

Bake it with a water bath underneath

cool it down really slow
