Answers:
I bake mine first - helps get rid of some of the grease!. Then I put them in a crockpot with sauce on low and everybody eats them at their leisure!. Here's my recipe:
2 lb ground beef
2 egges
1 1/2 c dry bread italian bread crumbs
1/4 c chopped onion
1T oragano
1T Basil
1T Parsley
1/4 c parm cheese
mix together
roll up bake at 350 for half hour but check on them at 20 min to make sure the bottoms aren't browning more than u would like

That's what I do, good luck and have a good meal!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Here is my recipe I love it because they stay moist and they don't fall apart!.

1!.5lbs ground beef (lean)
1 egg
1!.5t italian seasoning
1/2t ground black pepper
1/2t salt
3/4 cup bread crumbs
2-4 cloves minced garlic
1/4t red pepper flakes

(feel free to omit/add any seasoning)

mix it all together!.
make meatballs around 1-2inches round

heat a non-stick pan add olive oil (light or extra virgin depending on your tastes)

brown the meat balls!.!.!. the point is to get the outside crispy and brown you don't need to cook them all the way through

heat oven to 350degrees

when meetballs are browned all over add them to a caserole dish (I actually often use a pie plate it jsut depends how long you are going to have them in the oven)

cook uncovered 15 minutes!.!.!.if you have them in the oven longer (say to keep them warm until everything else is ready) turn the oven off and cover!.

Extra: sometimes when I make these I take the mini fresh motzerella balls and place them in the middle of the meat ball when forming them!.!.!.it gives it something extra!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I used to fry mine but they always fell apart, so now I always bake mine!. I did just see that if you pop them in the freezer for 30-45 minutes then brown them and drain!. Then pour the sauce over the meatballs and simmer until the meatballs are cooked thru!.

Here is how I do my meat ball's, sorry it's not an exact recipe!.

Here is what I also add to my meat loaf sorry I don't have anything exact cuz I do it to feel!. You want to end up with a nice firm feel to the meat loaf!. And you want it to hold a shape nicely!. I also use the same basic ingredients to make meat balls but when I do meat balls I chop the veggies up smaller!.

Sausage- sometimes
Lean hamburger
Green bell peppers (reds also if I have them)
Onions
Mushrooms
Green Onions
Eggs
Ketchup
Mustard
B-B-Q sauce-sometimes
teriyaki-more for meat balls
Worcestershire sauce
Dry ingredients of some kinds such as oatmeal, dried out bread, slightly crushed Plain cheerios etc!.!.!.

I use turkey so I make turkey meatballs!. I usually mix the ground turkey with worcheshire (however its spelled) sauce, a tsp of soy sauce, chop up some vidalia onion, and a couple of eggs and bread crumbs!. I then mix it all together with my hand, and create the balls, and stick it in a greased casserole dish!. I bake it in the oven on 400 for about 20 minutes!. Then I fry them for a couple of minutes on top of the stove and then add the sauce!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

hmmm, i've never boiled mine!. I'll try that the next time!.

I fry mine in a pan if I want the outside to be a little crispy!. This is the way my mom made them!.

If I'm in a hurry I'll pop them in the oven turning them at least once!. When I do this, they get thrown into the sauce afterwards and I let them simmer for a while!. I bake them to remove the fat so it doesn't make the sauce greasy!.

I use 1/2 pork 1/2 beef
1-2 slices bread softened with a little milk!.
chopped parsley
parmesan cheese
an egg or 2 depending on the amount I'm making
salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder (other spices if I'm feeling adventurous)

ps!.!. I don't use fresh garlic or onion because my husband and son do not like it in the meatball!. I would have to put them into a food processor to make them into a paste and put it into the mixture so they don't know it's there!. It's just too much work to satisfy them so I opt for powder!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

ok hon if your making the sauce i will give you my recipe for meatballs, since i m Italian!.
1 1/2 lbs of ground beef,
1 egg
1/2 cup of italian breadcrumbs
1 small onion [chopped]
1 tbsp oregano
1 tsp basil
2 to 3 cloves of freash garlic [chopped!. add 1 tbtsp grated ramano cheese mix together & shape into balls
!. brown them in olive oil & add to yoir sauce,
i hope you like them Www@FoodAQ@Com

If it is for spaghetti, here is what I do!.
Mix my burger with egg, some cracker crumbs, some oregano, garlic, and italian seasoning!. Maybe throw in some parmesan cheese!. Salt and pepper!.
Then, I just shape them into meatballs and cook them in the simmering sauce!. Saves an extra greasy pan by not broiling or browning them!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

frying is what i like!. broiled or baked also works!.

ground beef, low fat %!. chopped onions, dash of pepper, dash of salt to taste, soy sauce for flavoring, sweetener to taste, sesame oil - all mixed together!. use vegetable oil to fry!.

delicious! best wishes!Www@FoodAQ@Com

its very rare that i make meatballs from scratch but when i do, its basically a meatloaf recipe!.!. just ball them up instead of turning it into a loaf!.!.!.!.!.
check out (ALL RECIPES!.COM) they have a recipe for anything you want to whip togetherWww@FoodAQ@Com

One of my tricks is that I chop an onion very finely and add it to the meat!.Then when I bake the meatballs the onion caramelizes and the smell is heavenly!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It does not matter what goes into the mixture as far as seasoning, but do not put too much filler, like bread-crumbs, stuffing ,cracker-meal and the like!. The taste is in the texture of the meat!. I prefer ground chuck, and roll fry it in a skillet, and about the size of a golf ball!. also no garlic powder, use thin sliced only!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
