Can anyone tell me the best?!
way to cook pork chops, so they are soft but the fat is crispyWww@FoodAQ@Com
Answers:
You can put them in the oven with water in a tray, then after they are cooked through they will still be soft, take them out and put them under the grill to crisp up!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Best cooking advice for pork chops that I know of comes from the TV show Good Eats!. As luck has it, you can view the pork chop episode on youtube!. See the source link below!. He advises soaking the chops for a couple of hours in a brine so they don't dry out during cooking, and he likes to stuff the chops for extra flavor!. Well, don't take my word for it, go watch the videos and admire his hat!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Dip them in batter holding the fat (so the fat doesn't get coated), deep-fry them and discard the cooked batter!. Seriously, it supersteams them and the batter holds the juices in and they cook quickly!. The meat fat also crisps up nicely!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
I agree with the suggestion by tomothered, the only thing I would change is that instead of water, use chicken broth for added flavor!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I do love them on the grill but die for them when they are deep fried!. also baking is the more healthier way to go!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
in the oven, put them on about 200c for 30 mins or so turning them half way!. drizzle them in a tiny bit of oil but not much xWww@FoodAQ@Com
I put mine under the grill on a medium heat!. Had them last night actually!.!.!. lovely! :)Www@FoodAQ@Com
