Sausage, Pepper, and Onion Sandwich
4 sandwiches
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 pound hot Italian rope sausage, cut into 2-inch lengths
3 large green bell peppers, cut into 1/2-inch strips
1 large onion, cut into 1/4-inch slices
4 hoagie rolls, split
Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot but not
smoking!. Add the sausage, peppers, and onion and cook for 25 to 30 minutes,
or until the sausage is cooked through and the peppers and onions are
tender, stirring occasionally!. Place the mixture on the hoagie rolls and
serve!.
