What is the recipe for the Butter Biscuits at the State Fair of Texas? ?!
You know, they ones they used to give out in the Argicultural Building a couple of years ago but now they give out custard!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

State Fair Yeast Biscuits
2 cups warm water (108oF)
2 pkg!. dry yeast
4 Tbsp!. sugar
1? tsp!. salt
5 cups flour
1? tsp!. baking powder
? cup powdered milk
? cup (1 stick) butter
Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast!. Set aside to proof!. In a small bowl, sift together or whisk 1 cup flour, dry milk, salt, and baking powder!.
In a mixer bowl, cut butter into above flour mixture!. Scrape bowl to make sure all ingredients are blended!. Add yeast mixture and mix thoroughly!. Add remaining flour, a little at a time, until mixture forms a sticky ball!.
Turn out onto a lightly floured surface and knead 15-20 times until dough is elastic!. Roll out to ?” thick, cut out with cutter, and place on lightly greased baking pan!. Brush tops with more melted butter and let rise in a warm place for 40 minutes!. Bake at 450oF about 10-12 minutes!. Remove from oven and brush tops w/ melted butter!.
