So you make the sushi rice, cut the fish into slices, mix the rice with sushi vinegar, shape the sushi rice, add wasabi, then put the fish topping on and you're done!.

sushi is the name for the rice!. the rice is cooked!. sashimi is what they call the raw fish alone!. actually some sushi dishes are cooked!.
ebi- is cooked shrimp on top of rice, they have nagi- which is candied eel!. they also have some sushi called california rolls which are made of the sushi rice, seaweed, sourcream, a hot pepper; no fish at all!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
