Question: Good substitute for salt on scrambled eggs!?
Trying to lower sodium, love eggs, what's something better for me to add to my scrambled eggs!?

Use Sea Salt!. It has a more Intense flavor so you need less!. It is all I use now!. The same can be said for Kosher salt as well!. also you might try some of the Mrs Dash seasoning mixes that are salt free!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can use a lite salt with is 50/50 reg salt and salt sub!. Or I like to sprinkle a little parmesan cheese on stuff instead of salt!. Still is salty but less than the same amount of regular salt, and adds a little flavor also!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I saute some onions, peppers and mushrooms in a teaspoon of olive or canola oil and add these to the scrambled eggs!. I also use fresh ground pepper and a sprinkle of grated cheddar cheese on the top!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

There are salt substitues, potassium based instead of sodium!.
Or try Mrs!.Dash, which is made from dehydrated vegetables!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Try "Mrs Dash" a sodium free seasoning you can find in the spices section of the grocery store!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

how about sprinkle some hot sauce on them!? just a few drops goes a long way and adds alot of flavor without the sugar and fat!.!.!.!.!. I put tabasco or franks redhot on everything!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Try garlic and onion powder!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

A dab of salsa!.!.!.or a bit on onion and garlic sauteed into the eggs!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
