How long should I marinade pork?!

Question: How long should I marinade pork!?
I have a pork roast that I'm going to make tomorrow, is making the marinade now and cooking it tomorrow too long to marinade it!?

also, the only liquids I have to make the marinade are milk, Worcestershire, and some whiskey!. I was going to go with the worcestershire, do you think that will not go well with pork!? I can't see it going wrong!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
A real simple roast can be; garlic-salt, and pepper, spear the roast and stuff garlic in the holes!. I use a sprig of rosemary on top or not if you don't have any!. I'll put a can of beef broth under the roast to stop it from drying, and I'll make the gravy out of that but you don't have to!. 45 min!. per pound at 350 and you won't even have to chew!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I have used worcestershire, whiskey and or brandy (I prefer the brandy to the whiskey but that is just me), soy sauce, and water (instead of the milk), I also add some spice and a touch of salt and pepper, and I would leave it in the marinade overnight!.

Then I usually put mine in the slow cooker for the entire day! YUM!!

You are making me very hungry!. Good luck, I hope it turns out!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Milk!?! Whisky!!? Egads, that sounds nasty!

Use worcestershire sauce!. Do you have some vinegar!? If so, add a bit of that!. What about olive (or vegetable) oil!? Put some of that in there, along w/ some coarse or dijon mustard, S&P, and some thyme!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Never had that kind of marinade!. Most of the time vinegar in involved in pork marinade and can be in the marinade an hour to over night!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

you can never marinade for too long I'd definitely go with the worcestershire and maybe a little brown sugar and ginger if you've got itWww@FoodAQ@Com

sounds gross to be honest!. Milk and whiskey!? HelpWww@FoodAQ@Com
