Anyone have a simple recipe to make tostado nachos similiar to those of TGI Fridays w/ "Spicy nacho meat"?!
Friday’s? Tostado Nachos Crisp tortillas topped with bacon-flavored refried beans, spicy nacho meat and a blend of melted cheeses!.
That is the description of it, but can you buy bacon-flavored refried beans!? And what type of spicy nacho meat to use!? I would imagine a Mexican Four-Cheese Blend cheese would work!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I used to work at Fridays!.
I believe you can definitely buy bacon flavored refried beans in the normal grocery!. Just check all of the cans!. Or, if you want, fry some bacon and add the drippings to the beans!. Mix well!.
Brown 1 lb!. ground beef in a skillet!. 1/2 way through, add 1/2 cup water and simmer!. Make sure the browned ground beef is really crumbled well!. Drain!.
Mix the meat with a taco season packet and water & simmer until the meat is finely crumbled!.
Get 1/2 tostadas (or whole) and smear on the beans, some meat and top with mexican cheese blend and 1 jalapeno slice each!. Melt under your oven's broiler for a minute or two!.
Serve with sour cream, pico de gallo, guac and some shredded lettuce!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
