Is it possible to make pilaf with brown rice? ?!
Do you have any good recipes for this!? On hand, I have onions, garlic, italian flat leaf parsley!.!.!.and of course, brown rice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sure- do you have olive oil or butter!?
Use1 cup rice, 2 1/2 cups liquid
You need to coat the bottom of the pan with 1 tbs of either ( some sort of oily substance- really, I have been in a pinch and used mazola-) , and then add chopped onion and garlic and stir to soften over medium heat!. Add the rice and stir to coat with the buttery/oily mixture!. Add liquid in small amounts- broth, water, some wine- if you have bullion cubes mix with water first, I have even used 1/2 water and 1/2 V8 for a great tomatoey taste!. Cook over very low heat, in a very tight pan, for about 40 minutes- stirring every 10 or so!. Taste to aldente- a slight bite, not mushy!.!.!.
