I need some good advice for cooking sausage!?!
OK, so I tried making some sausage in a fry pan!.!.!.!.just sprayed some Pam on it and put the sausages on!. I had the heat on low-low/middle heat!. Seemed that the outsides started getting faster than the outside!.!.!.!.blacker on the outside but the insides weren't exactly "cooked" color!.
What color should I be looking for on the inside of the sausage!? Grey or a bit red!? Thanks for any general tipsWww@FoodAQ@Com

Well, at least you tried and we've all done this before, so don't beat yourself up about it, at least you're not to prideful to ask for help!. I always do my sausage in a large, flat pan with a water bath to begin with, about 1/4 of the way up to your sausage links and drizzle some Olive Oil in the pan as well!. Cook your sausage on Medium High heat and while the water evaporates out of the pan, this will cook the inside of your sausage!. Then, once the water evaporates, the olive oil will take over and lightly brown the skin of your sausage and seal all those wonderful flavors inside! When your sausage is done, you should see a uniform color upon cutting into it, a light grey color, no pink or red at all!. Please remember, that differently flavored sausages might be different in color on the outside, but the inside should be the same, basically!. For an exact internal temperature, it should be 160 at least!. Hope this helps you to enjoy your safely cooked sausage and this was a good question to ask! Happy Cooking to you!Www@FoodAQ@Com

They should look grey!.
At that temperature you should be having no trouble, you just want them to gently sizzle!.
I find it better to grill broil, about 8" from the heat, on a rack in a pan!.

Sausage requires patience!. Use low heat, turn frequently until golden brown on the outside and grey but not dried out on the inside!.
