Answers:
Stew!.
Cut the beef into bite sized pieces, and trim away fat!.
Brown the beef in a fry pan in a little oil, in batches and transfer to a heavy based pot!. (preferably)
Fry off the onions and garlic and deglaze the fry pan with a little water!.
Add the onions and garlic to the meat!.
If the soup mix is powdered sprinkle over meat and onions and stir to combine!.
Stir in more water until in covers the meat completely!.
Add seasonings, S&P, Worcestershire sauce and bring to the boil!.
Reduce and simmer for 45 minutes, on the lowest heat on an element!.
Check water level and stir from time to time
Add carrots celery and chopped potatoes and crushed tomatoes and juice!.
You may need to top up the level of water and stir to combine!.
Bring to the boil and simmer gently for about 20-30 minutes, or until the potatoes and carrots are cooked!.
Check seasonings once again, and if necessary thicken!.
Serve!.
(You could put everything into a casserole dish and cook in oven, but I prefer stove top)
I omit the potatoes so I can boil and mash, to mop up the gravy!.

I love Beef Stew, but my recipe is a family classic so I won't give it out, respect for my Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, sorry!. But, I can tell you some hints, flour your Beef roast before you sear it and add a little tomato paste about 2 hrs!. into your cooking time!. Obviously, the flour will create it's own thickening process and the tomato paste will also do this and bring all of your flavors together with that little added something to your Beef Stew!. Cutting your additional veggies a little larger might also give you a stewy look as apposed to a soupy stew, because the longer cooking time of the Beef Stew will break down your celery, carrots and onions quicker if they are too small!. So, that's it, sorry I can't tell you the exact process, but if still need some more help, email me and I can give you some more hints!. Good luck and happy cooking, hope I've helped you out today!. In a large dutch oven (if you have one!. use a skillet if you don't!.) Rinse and then dredge the beef cubes in seasoned flour, shake off excess, brown on all sides in oil in skillet or dutch oven!.
Place meat in bottom of dutch oven, or in a large pot with a lid!. Add frozen stew veggies, or use fresh chopped celery, carrots, pearl onions, potatoes!.
Add just enough liquid to cover!. Bring to a boil, then simmer, covered, about 1 hour!. (For the liquid, you can use beef broth, or water, but if you use water, you might wanna add a packet of lipton soup mix (maybe onion soup, or beefy mushroom, whatever you like!.)
The flour from the beef cubes should thicken the "gravy" on it's own, along with the starch from the potatoes!. Hope this helps!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

There so many ways to make beef stew!. The basic method is below:
1) Purchase stew beef (or cut chuck or round steak into cubes)
2) I usually cut the purchased stew beef into smaller cubes for ease of eating
3) Heat a couple tablespoons of vegetable oil (your favorite) in a Dutch oven or deep saucepan
4) Brown the beef cubes on all sides until well caramelized
5) Add water or beef broth to the beef cubes
6) Add frozen stew vegetables to the mixture
7) Season with salt, pepper and other favorite spices such as garlic, bay leaves, etc!.
8) Cover and let simmer for a couple hours until the beef is tender
9) Make dumplings and add to stew, if desired
Note: Can use fresh veggies such as potatoes, onions, carrots, celery instead of frozen stew veggies

You need to add some flour to it!. When you cook the meat coat it in flour first then fry it!. this adds thickening!. if after you have is cooking it looks soupy you could take a little flour and water and mix together in a jar till all the flour is dissolved then slowly pour into the stew stirring this will also thicken it!. You must dredge your cubed beef in flour before browning!. Then add all the rest of your ingredients!. The flour helps thicken the stew!. If still too thin, add some instant potatoe flakes at the end till thickness you desire has been achieved!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Are you mixing in some cornstarch into the drippings!? that would help thicken it up!.
Or you can add a can of beef gravy at the end!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
