What's the stuff they put on that tiger bread for that aroma?!


Question: What's the stuff they put on that tiger bread for that aroma!?
I got 2 tiger brd rolls last night and it stunk my flat out, but it was kinda nice sort of smell, you know!.
I don't however want to use it as aftershave, but just wondering that's all, any bakers here today, lol!.

I know what you mean, the smell is great, but unfortunately I don't know, probably some kind of oil!.
I used to buy this bread all the time until I noticed how fatty it was!. Put it on some plain paper for ten minutes and you will see what I mean!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

We dont have tiger bread here but do have tiger balm and you certainly wouldnt want to put that on your bread, its an old chinese headache cure that we use by rubbing it on your temples so you dont need medication stinks but it works lol! :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

I asked a baker at Tescos and he told me it was a paste made mainly of sesame oil and various other things - don't think he wanted to tell me the exact details as he may have thought I was an industrial spy!Www@FoodAQ@Com
