TIME: Prep: 30 min!. Bake: 45 min!. + cooling
Ingredients:
4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup shortening
4 egg yolks
2 tablespoons lemon juice
8 to 10 tablespoons cold water
FILLING:
7 cups finely chopped peeled apples
2 cups sugar
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Dash ground nutmeg
GLAZE:
1 cup confectioners' sugar
1 tablespoon milk
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Directions:
In a large bowl, combine flour, salt and baking powder!. Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs!. In a small bowl, whisk egg yolks, lemon juice and water; gradually add to flour mixture, tossing with a fork until dough forms a ball!. Divide in half!. Chill for 30 minutes!.
Roll out one portion of dough between two large sheets of waxed paper into a 17-in!. x 12-in!. rectangle!. Transfer to an ungreased 15-in!. x 10-in!. x 1-in!. baking pan!. Press pastry onto the bottom and up the sides of pan; trim pastry even with top edge!.
In a large bowl, toss the apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg; spread over crust!. Roll out remaining pastry to fit top of pan; place over filling!. Trim edges; brush edges between pastry with water or milk; pinch to seal!. Cut slits in top!.
Bake at 375° for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown!. Cool on a wire rack!. Combine glaze ingredients until smooth; drizzle over bars before cutting!. Yield: about 2 dozen

This is VERY easy and VERY delicious
1 (18!.25 ounce) package chocolate cake mix
1 (3!.9 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix
1 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs
1/2 cup hot water
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)!. Grease and flour a Bundt pan!.
Combine cake mix, pudding mix, oil, eggs, water, sour cream, and vanilla!. Beat until smooth!. Stir in chocolate chips!. Pour batter into prepared pan!.
Bake for 1 hour!. Allow to cool!. serves 12

1 1/2 packages (8 oz size) cream cheese
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
3/4 tsp vanilla
Topping:
1 cup sour cream
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
strawberry or pineapple preserves
Let cream cheese soften in a medium size bowl; add 1/2 cup sugar, and cream together thoroughly!.
Add eggs, on at a time, beating well after each addition!.
Add 3/4 tsp vanilla and beat until smooth and creamy!.
Place paper cupcake (foil if you have them) in a muffin tin and using a teaspoon, fill each one 2/3 full!. Bake in a preheated 300 F oven 20 to 25 minutes!. Cool 10 minutes (cakes will cave in slightly in center)!.
Make topping: In a small bowl, thoroughly mix sour cream, sugar and vanilla!. Using a teaspoon top each with a small amount, enough to cover the top!. Top with small amount of preserves in center of each cake!. Return pan to oven and bake an additional 10 minutes!. Makes about 2-3 dozen!.

Mix bisquick, 1/2 cup sugar and 3 tbs cocoa in a greased 8 inch square baking dish!. Stir in milk and vanilla until well blended!. Sprinkle evenly with remaining 1/3 cup cocoa and 1/2 cup sugar!. Pour on water!. Bake in preheated 350 F oven for 40 minutes or until top is firm!. Dust with powdered sugar!. Serve at once in bowl with sauce spooned over cake!. Make 6 servings!.

Bake a Dump Cake!. Grease a 13 x 9 inch cake pan!. Dump in two cans of cherry (or any other fruit) pie filling!. Sprinkle dry yellow cake mix (regular sized box, not small) over the pie filling!. Melt two sticks of butter and drizzle over cake mix!. Bake at 350 for 30 -40 minutes or until top starts to brown!. Really easy and really good!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
