Here is one for Roasted Red Pepper Hummus

Drain 2 15 oz cans of garbanzo beans (chickpeas) and 1 7 oz bottle roasted red bell pepper and put into food processor bowl with 3 tsp mined garlic; 1 tablespoon olive oil; 6 tablespoons lemon juice; 1 teaspoon curry powder; 1/2 teaspoon each of ground cumin and ground coriander; 1 1/4 teaspoons salt; 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper; and 1 tablespoon sesame seed; process 2 minutes until very smooth; put in serving bowl, cover and chill overnight!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

A very tasty recipe, you must use top quality ingredients in order to achieve great results!.

Ingredients:

? 1 cup uncooked chickpeas??
??? cup raw tahini (ground sesame seeds)
??? cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
? 3 cloves garlic, crushed
? 3 Tbsp olive oil
? 1 Tbsp salt
? 1 Tsp cumin
?? Sweet paprika, olive oil and some parsley (for decoration only)

Directions:

? 1!. Soak the chickpeas in water for 8-10 hours!.

? 2!. Strain and drain the chickpeas and cook them in
????? 5 cups water for 2 hours until totally soft!.

? 3!. Strain and take them out of the water (keep the water!),
????? reserve a?few chickpeas for decoration!.

? 4!. Place chickpeas and other ingredients in blender, gradually
????? adding a small amount of the cooking water!.

? 5!. Blend this mixture until smooth!.

? 6!. Put the hummus spread in an attractive shallow bowl and decorate it with
?????? the cooked chickpeas, olive oil, paprika and some parsley!.

? You can add less water if you want a thicker dip!.

? You can store the hummus dip in the refrigerator for 3-4 days, since
?????? it doesn't have preservatives like commercial hummus!.

Turbo Hummus
Alton Brown

2 to 3 cloves garlic
1 can garbanzo beans (chickpeas), drained and liquid reserved
2 to 3 tablespoons smooth peanut butter or Tahini (sesame paste) preferred
A handful fresh parsley leaves
1 lemon, zested and juiced
Pinch freshly ground black pepper
Pinch kosher salt
1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil

Chop the garlic finely in a food processor!. Add the beans and 1/2 of the reserved liquid and process finely or to desired consistency!. Add the peanut butter, parsley, lemon zest and juice, black pepper, and salt!. Process until it forms a paste!. Drizzle in the olive oil and process until it reaches the consistency of mayonnaise!.
