you bet unsalted butter is preferred for baking anyways!. In baking!. you do need to add the salt it calls for to aid in leavening!. baking is more of a science and needs accurate measurements!. many ingredients are necessary for the baking process not just flavor!. but using unsalted butter is a good substitute for salted butter!. i never bake with salted butter myself!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
