I like the Quick Chef because it uses no electricity, which is great for campers, etc, and means the ENTIRE thing can go in the dishwasher!. also it goes at a speed you control!. I noticed sometimes a food processor chopped too quickly, and I was left with mush!. Of course Tupperware has a lifetime warranty so, if anything every breaks or cracks, it is replaced for free!. I also like that all of its parts will store inside the container (even the handle), which helps with cabinet space!. The funnel feature is cool, because you can add lime juice, or whatever without opening it up!.

One thing I don't like about the Quick Chef, is it holds one quart, and if you want more than that you have to chop and dump, chop and dump, etc!.

But if you are wanting something that has a more attachments, and you like all the different gadgets that come with a lot of food processors, then that may be more up your alley!.

If you decide you would like to purchase the Quick Chef, feel free to go to my website and look around!. Best of luck in your decision!

honestly, i have both!. if you want a "do it all" type of device, the quick chef will get you most of what you'd want to do - it chops and mixes and so much more!. the food processor is only necessary in my house for things that are going to be thoroughly chopped and blended or things that are very thick and must be thoroughly blended!. the quick chef is very quick at most tasks, but i use the food processor for the heavy duty stuff (i do more heavy duty stuff than the average cook because of my family size and i do catering) that would normally take several minutes in the quick chef!. however, making whips or whipped topping or similar is actually better in the quick chef because of the whipping attachment!.
the quick chef will serve at least 90% of your needs, plus it uses no electricity, takes up less space than a food processor, and is very portable should you need to take it somewhere!. it's easy to use and assemble and if something should ever happen to it (or if parts are lost) it has a lifetime warranty (the food processor likely has no warranty or a very short one)!. it's the better buy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you have good arms, the quick chef would be ok!. But if you have a medical condition, get a regular food processer!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
