Answers:
All purpose flour will work, but cake flour is lighter!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

All-purpose flour will work just fine for Pineapple Upside Down Cake!. So would the self-rising flour!. Omit the baking powder and salt though!.

To substitute AP flour in a recipe subtract 2 tablespoon flour for each cup!. Add 2 tablespoons cornstarch to make 1 cup total!. This works in all cake recipes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You need to use what the recipe calls for or look up subs to replace any ingredient you do not have to see if there is a sub!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can use all purpose flour, the cake will be a little heavier!. Bread flour is OK for heavy cakes like carrot cakes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
